About Teri Graham ISA Certified Arborist

 Teri Graham is an ISA Certified Arborist who services all of Sarasota County, Florida and surrounding areas as well as many other areas in the state of Florida to Evaluate, Diagnose and report on Tree Health & Risk Factors.   Teri has over 13 years of experience in the tree and landscape industry, she was part of the development from the ground up, for 9 years, of one of the largest tree services in Brevard County, FL aka the Space Coast.    Teri returned to be an ISA Certified Arborist in Sarasota Florida as a home base to be close to family, but still travels across the state to take care of her clients in Melbourne area & the adjacent beach towns. She has trees there that she rescued up to 7 years ago that were in really bad shape that are thriving now and takes it to heart to continue care for them.

 

Teri Graham ISA Certified Arborist assists both residential and commercial tree owners with assessing and maintaining the health, safety, proper diagnosis' & environmentally safe preservation options.

 

Teri is an Independent Consultant, not a sales representative for a specific tree trimming or tree removal service, so you can rest assured that the information and recommendations that you receive are based solely on the condition of the trees and plants being evaluated.   Also, she would never recommend spending money on treating a tree that is beyond treatable.  

 

However, due to the various needs of her clients and being well educated, versed and experienced on the operations of Tree Services, she can create a tree health & safety plan for you.  This would give you a specific work order to then choose a tree care company to execute.  You will also be given a list of things to look for and beware of while choosing a tree care service, if these are options that fit your needs. 

Additionally, any treatment tree health correction and/or optimization options are always given as an option and information on how you can do things yourself, if you prefer this, without pressure to have New Earth LLC perform the services.  Of course, if you prefer that we handle any of that for you, that is certainly an option for you as well.

 "For many years  I was the Certified Arborist that performed estimates for tree trimming, removals, etc for years, but always did it different than the industry standard.   My focus was always on doing only what the tree needed and educating my clients on the what, where, & why.   "Pruning with a Purpose" and making sure my clients understood why I would recommend the types of pruning I did, or why, as a last resort a removal was recommended.   I personally don't like "sales pitches" and pushy personalities.   My goals are for my clients to be comfortable and to have a full understanding of the health & safety levels of their trees, how trees thrive, what makes them sick and declined and how I can help them achieve their goals for their trees and property.  I treat everyone & their like family and give them the various options available and let them choose.

 Tremendous additional study beyond that of what is included to become an ISA Certified Arborist is required to accurately be able to identify & diagnose diseases, especially those that affect our trees here locally in Florida and therefore, make the most proper & appropriate recommendations.  ISA stands for the International Society of Arboriculture.  ISA is THE ONLY agency that "Certifies Arborists", while outstanding, they are international, so it would be impossible to address each local demographic of trees, risks, environmental factors and diagnosis within that of the original certification, without additional classes, workshops they do offer and independent study which Teri has been focused on now for the past 8 years of study and focus on in depth assessments, diagnosis and Tree Health Care.  The Florida ISA Chapter and other agencies offer various seminars which she also attends as they pertain to her services.  As such, not all ISA Certified Arborists are the same.  Most in the Industry are focused on tree pruning & removal and that's often the extent. 

 

Teri has been a nature lover since childhood, growing up with huge organic gardens in the middle of an 80 acre nature preserve in Southern Indiana.    Her love for trees and the environment has driven her to not only to pursue a career as an ISA Certified Arborist, but to also obtain extensive additional study in specific local disease diagnostics, risk assessments, invasive insects prevention, and to develop a system of organic treatments to improve the health of trees, plants and grass that make them less likely to become diseased or insect infested while having no negative environmental run-off/impact.
